TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Definitions:
Company or Us: Tinosera Luxury Suites.
You, Yours, Visitor: The person making the reservation (the “main guest”) and anyone staying with the main guest at the accommodation for which the reservation is made (“guest – companion”).
Suite: The accommodation unit provided by us for overnight stay, including its outdoor area (garden & pool).
Direct Reservation: A reservation made through our booking network (website, email, phone, or on-site).
Third-Party Reservation: A reservation made by a third party, such as a travel agent, on behalf of and for the guest and any companions.

2. Scope:
These terms and conditions apply to all accommodation reservations and all other services provided by Tinosera Luxury Suites to guests. Subleasing or assignment of the suite to third parties is strictly prohibited. These terms and conditions prevail over any alternative provisions, including those contained in the general terms and conditions of the guest or third party.

3. Reservation Policy:
We reserve the right to accept or reject any reservation request. Every reservation request must include the names and ages of the main guest and accompanying guests. Upon receiving a reservation request, a 50% deposit of the total reservation cost is required within 24 hours of receiving the reservation confirmation. In some cases, full (100%) payment may be required.
A lodging contract (“the contract”) is concluded upon receipt of the deposit. If the deposit is not received within 24 hours, the contract is not concluded, and we reserve the right to revoke any confirmation, reject any reservation request, or cancel any reservation.
By making a reservation as the main guest, you declare and guarantee that you have the authority to accept and that you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of your accompanying guests.
After confirmation of the reservation or the conclusion of the contract, any requests for changes regarding guests and reservation details are subject to our written confirmation. In this case, we reserve the right to reject any changes, revoke any confirmation, reject any reservation request, or cancel any reservation.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation.

4. Payment Terms:
50% of the total reservation cost must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation from us. In the case of a Non-Refundable Rate, 100% of the accommodation value must be paid to confirm your reservation. If payment is made by bank transfer, it must be made within 24 hours of the reservation.
The remaining balance of the total cost will be paid on the agreed arrival date. If the balance is not paid on the arrival day, we have the right to cancel the reservation and charge cancellation fees/penalties as per Article 7.

5. Check-In/Check-Out:
Check-in from 15:00.
Check-out by 10:00 in the morning.

6. Late Arrival – Early Departure:
In the case of a late arrival or an early departure, the total price of the reservation will be charged according to the initial booking.

7. Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel your reservation or in case of a no-show, and in the event of cancellation by us according to the provisions of Article 4, the following charges apply:
Full charge (100%) of the reservation price.

8. Prices:
The agreed-upon price of your reservation includes the applicable VAT and all local taxes and fees. In the event of an increase in the current VAT or local taxes and fees between the confirmation of the reservation and the arrival date, we reserve the right to increase the agreed price by an amount equal to the increase in legal VAT or local taxes and fees.
Subject to the aforementioned price increase, once your reservation is confirmed, the price is guaranteed. No refunds are made in case of fluctuations in the exchange rate that may reduce the rental price.

9. Guests – Children – Pet Policy – Smoking Policy:
Only guests mentioned in the reservation confirmation have the right to use the accommodation unit. We reserve the right to refuse entry/access/use of the suite to anyone not mentioned in the reservation confirmation.
All guests must present valid identification documents upon arrival and before check-in. EU nationals must present a passport or national ID. Non-EU nationals must present a valid passport with a visa (national visa) or any type of Greek residence permit. We reserve the right to deny access to the suite to any guest who does not present valid identification documents as mentioned above.
Children are not accepted, and in such cases, Tinosera Luxury Suites reserves the right to refuse entry to guests without prior notice and agreement, retaining the right to withhold the entire amount.
Pets are not allowed on our premises.
Smoking is not allowed inside the suite, and smoke detectors will trigger an alarm otherwise.

10. Property – Damages:
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any property/item removed from the suite (e.g., towels, bathrobes, bed linens, furniture). The charge will equal the full replacement cost of the missing item plus any replacement expenses (such as transportation, assembly costs). If you have provided your credit/debit card details, we have the right to charge these amounts directly to your card.
We reserve the right to charge guests for the cost of repairing any damages to the property caused by guests. Damages include situations where the suite has been left excessively dirty and requires special cleaning or replacement of items. If you have provided your credit/debit card details, we have the right to charge these amounts directly to your card.

11. Swimming Pool
The suite has a private pool. It is not required to have a lifeguard in the area of the private pool of the suite. Guests using the private pool acknowledge and accept that there will be no lifeguard on duty in the private pool area. Each person entering the pool or pool area does so at their own risk. By using the pool and pool area, they declare that they do not require lifeguard supervision. In the case of children/minors, this statement is considered to be given by their parent or legal guardian, who remains solely responsible for their supervision in the pool area.
The use of the pool is allowed only for adults who are capable and healthy for swimming. Persons under 18 years old should be constantly supervised by an adult who is capable and healthy for swimming.
For their safety, guests must be extremely careful when using the pool and/or walking around the pool, and they must follow the rules below:
Pool use is not allowed under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications affecting physical ability.
The pool has a maximum depth of 1.40 m. Diving/jumping is prohibited.
Avoid using the pool while alone. Prefer to use the pool when other guests are around or nearby. In case of emergency, they may be able to help.
Avoid using the pool at night. If you do so, please do not turn off the outdoor lights and ensure there is adequate lighting.
Persons under 18 years old should be supervised at all times by an adult who is capable and healthy for swimming. Please do not leave children unattended.
Do not run, jump, or move vigorously around the pool. Wet floors can be slippery.
Do not chew gum, drink, or eat while using the pool.
Be careful when playing in the pool. Avoid dangerous games. Under no circumstances get involved in games/activities where a person is underwater or there is a risk of being held underwater.
Do not swim after eating. Allow at least 2 hours to pass.
Do not enter the pool in case of infectious skin diseases, injuries, bleeding, etc. Do not leave any kind of bodily fluids in the pool.
Take a shower before entering the pool.

12. Food and Drinks
The suite is a self-catering accommodation. In self-catering accommodations, the provision of all supplies and food consumables necessary for daily living is done by you. We will satisfy any requests for purchasing supplies on your behalf at an additional cost. Upon your request, we will provide you with a variety of meals from our local catering partner or restaurant, at an additional cost.
All guests, and in the case of children/minors, their parent/legal guardian, are solely responsible for any food, drink, and other consumables they consume in the suite, whether purchased or obtained in any other way and/or prepared by them or on their behalf by catering, restaurant, private chef, and/or any other person, and they do so at their own risk.
It is expressly agreed that our representatives or our staff are not responsible for any physical injury, illness, death, loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by the consumption of any food/drink in the suite.

13. Welcome Baskets (everyday provision/ breakfast)
As a gesture of appreciation to our guests, we may provide a welcome basket with local products such as fruits & vegetables, free of charge.
You should be careful about any allergies to any of the products included in the welcome basket, and by accepting it, you declare that none of the guests have an allergy to any of them.
We are not responsible or liable for any physical injury, illness, death, loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by the consumption of any product included in the welcome basket.
In case you have any allergies, please inform us.

14. Disclaimer
We or any member of our staff are not responsible for any injury, illness, or death suffered by any or all guests. The guest and every accompanying guest waive any claim against us for injury, illness, or death. Notify us immediately in case of any emergency so that we can assist you. The emergency phone numbers in Greece are 100 and 166.

15. Valuables & Security
You are solely responsible for all valuable items you leave in the suite and any items/property or vehicles you leave in any external area of the suite or our facilities in general. Please ensure to close and lock all doors and windows when leaving the suite and do not leave items/valuables in outdoor areas. We are not responsible for any damages or losses to any items, belongings, or valuables that belong to you or have been rented by you.

16. Third-Party Services
Several services are provided to guests by third parties recommended by us but not directly operated by us (such as private taxis, excursions, local catering with private chefs, restaurants, etc.). Guests using any third-party services waive any claims against us (including but not limited to damages, losses, injuries, death, etc.) arising from the use of such services.

17. Water & Electricity
As is common on most Greek islands, water and power outages are not uncommon. In the event of water or power disruptions, we will do our best to restore the supply or provide temporary alternatives using the private water tanks and power generators available. We are not responsible for any damages, losses, or inconvenience caused by such interruptions.

18. Internet/Wifi
The suite is equipped with the Internet. We are not responsible for any damages, losses, or inconvenience caused by potential interruptions or disturbances to the Internet.

19. Guest Behavior
We expect our guests to adhere to these terms and conditions as well as the laws. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest who does not comply with these terms and conditions and/or any legislative provisions, or in cases where, in the opinion of our staff or management, their behavior jeopardizes the comfort, safety, protection, and dignity of other guests, our staff, and/or poses a risk to the integrity of our facilities and property. We reserve the right to enter the suite in emergency situations to take necessary actions.
We reserve the right to immediately expel a guest from our premises and take all necessary measures, including termination of the stay and notifying the relevant authorities. In the event of such termination, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the reservation price, with the reservation of any damages or losses we may have incurred due to such violation/behavior, which we have the right to claim additionally.

20. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and all matters relating to or arising from your stay in the suite and the provision of any related service are governed by Greek law. The courts of Athens (Greece) have jurisdiction and are competent to settle any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms:
• Early check-in and late check-out are available on subject to availability.
• Individual Cancellation, No-Show and Amendment Policy: Cancellations shall incur full charge of the price.
• All standard policies pertaining to hotel/ hospitality industry are applicable, when specific reservation policy is not mentioned in the “Reservation Confirmation” document.

• Full charge of the amount will be taken on your credit card under the name booking is made for the total stay on your arrival. Early check-in and late check-out are chargeable as per the Hotel policy. It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. Such documents can be either Greek ID Card, Greek Driver’s License,or International passport. Hotel reserves the right to refuse check-in in the absence of a valid identification document.
• Payment can be made using a credit card or deposit in the bank account.
• Applicable Taxes – Taxes are as applicable at the time of reservation.
• An extension of stay at the Hotel is liable to be offered at rate/offer applicable at the time the extension request is made. In case, the original offer at which the reservation was booked has expired at that time, the hotel is not liable to offer a room at the original rates but at current rates on offer.
• Booking rates are not refundable. The Customer is therefore advised to check the room description and any such conditions carefully prior to making a booking. Hotel shall not be liable to cancel or refund any monies or alter any bookings after the reservation
• Upon cancellation of booking, the refund of the booking is not an option. In consultation with the manager ,alternative dates of stay can be given if available.
• Children under the age of 12 are not allowed and can not stay at the premises.
• In keeping with our heightened security procedures, we request you to provide your photo-identity proof while checking-in. Greek Nationals can present any of the following which is mandatory: Passport, Driving License, Greek ID.Foreign Nationals are required to present their passport and valid visa. • No gatherings and parties of any nature are allowed in the room. • • No smoking at any place of the facilities is allowed and a state fine is applied.The Hotel reserves the right to evict any additional occupants in the room.
• This reservation is not transferable.
• In the event of no-show, full amount will be charged.
• Hotel reserves the right to send guests away from the Hotel due to their conduct and behaviour or for any other safety, security, medical reasons. This applies in particular, if Guests do not observe instructions given by Hotel employees, express themselves in a discriminating manner, harass or endanger other guests.
• Guests will not be permitted to compromise the health, safety and security aspects of the Hotel at any point of time.
• Guests are bound to produce an original proof of identity at the time arrival in the Hotel
• Special terms of offer will be applicable for the respective bookings and in case of conflict, the terms of such special offers will prevail.
• Guests are not allowed to bring food and beverage from outside in the Hotel or order food from outside the Hotel.
• The Hotel undertakes no liability for the shelf life of the food which is taken away to the Hotel after an event at the Hotel or taken outside the Hotel for private consumption.
• In case of conflict in the actual bill provided to you after the receipt of services, the terms of the bill will prevail.
• Neatness and hygiene should be adequately maintained by the Guest. The Guest should always adhere to the safety, security and hygiene advise duly provided by the Hotel and should avoid breaching the same. The Guest will be solely responsible for any such violation if identified.
• All the assets and valuables of the Hotel should be duly maintained adequately and should not be damaged or destroyed. The Hotel has the discretion to levy any charges in future if it is proven beyond doubt that such damage/destruction to the asset of the Hotel (both movable and immovable) have been done or caused by the Guest.
• If you have any allergies, sensitivities or intolerance to, but not limited to: a particular fabric, material, cleaning product or food, it is not Hotel’s responsibility to advise Hotel management prior to arrival.
• Your valuables can be stored in a safety deposit box in your room or the hotel can store your valuables upon request. The hotel is entitled to collect a charge for storage of these items.
• In case the items you wish to store are exceptionally valuable you must notify the hotel before storing. The hotel may refuse to store this kind of valuables.
• Management and staff work hard to provide a safe and secure environment. We do everything possible to ensure a secure environment is maintained and we ask that our guests do also. The Hotel takes no responsibility for any personal possessions that are lost, stolen or misplaced whilst on the premises due to the acts and omissions of the guests themselves.
• Lost property found on the premises is logged and kept in a secure location for a period of three (3) months. Thereafter items are either disposed of or donated to charity. The Hotel accepts no responsibility for contacting individuals in relation to lost property. Perishable items retrieved from rooms after check out are only held until close of business that day.
• Claimed items can be collected from the hotel with valid identification or alternatively the hotel can arrange postage on behalf of the guest at their expense.
• The Hotel is not responsible for damage or disappearance of vehicles kept in the parking area. The hotel is obliged to clearly express in the parking area that the area is supervised but the hotel is not responsible for the property kept in there. Local authorities will take care of matters such as above mentioned.
• The Company reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on this website immediately. Please check the latest information posted herein to inform yourself of any changes.
• We do our best to ensure reservation arrangements are satisfactory, however, the Hotel does not accept any liability for any loss financial or otherwise, travel delay, injury, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control. These include, but not limited to, flight delays or cancellations, boat delays or cancellations ,civil disturbance, defects in vehicles, strikes, theft, acts of terrorism, natural disaster, war, fire, floods, ‘acts of Nature, acts of Government or of any other authorities, changes to Government regulations, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment, maintenance requirements or industrial action.
• The transport to the port is provided with charge upon request as an ancillary service and the Hotel is not accountable to whatsoever happens to the guests during such transits.
• By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by the Hotel, your stay subsequently shall be subject to the Hotel’s Standard Terms and Conditions in respect of their reservation / stay at the Hotel.
• You further agree that the General Terms and Conditions as provided on the website www.tinosera.gr shall constitute the binding agreement between yourself and Hotel Diplomat in relation to any and all commercial arrangement including reservation, stay, payment, usage of facilities, etc. of whatsoever nature.
• The Hotel may, at its absolute discretion, cancel the reservation if the Hotel is of the opinion that the reservation information provided is falsified or incomplete.
• Guest voluntarily agrees and permits the Hotel representatives to profile the guest from the public domain to ascertain the details of the guest and render adequate hospitality services to them during their stay in the hotel.
• The Hotel shall be entitled to vary, amend and/or otherwise change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
• You shall indemnify and hold the Hotel harmless in respect of any liability, loss, damage, cost and expense of any nature arising out of, and/or in connection with the acceptance of the reservation and your stay in the Hotel.
• The Hotel shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of the reservation by the Hotel.
• The Hotel does not accept any liability for any failure by the Hotel to comply with these conditions where such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
